Mount the turn signal stalk with the stalk pointed towards the seat as high as possible between the plate

The ignition switch mounts under the turn signal stalk on the 2"x 2" frame hoop that has the door hinge
mounted to it. With the door closed, mount the switch as close to the hinge as possible without hitting

The turn signal stalk can be cut shorter so that when it's mounted it will not protrude past the dash lip.
If you want to cut the stalk length, do it after the dash is installed and you have sat in the car to see if it
is needed. Cut half of the length first. Do not worry about the pieces that fall out, they are for the
Mustang wipers and are not used. Re-use the end cap and epoxy glue it to the newly cut stalk to give it a
nice finished look.

Battery/tray assembly
It is recommended that you purchase a new battery. The battery tray is designed to accept the
standard Ford Mustang 5.0 battery. Do not expose the battery to any spark source. Do not
connect the battery. There are two battery locations available. One is in the center of the car
