13.2.7 WIPS

Motorola's Wireless Intrusion Protection Software (WIPS) monitors for unauthorized rogue Access Points.
Unauthorized attempt to access the WLAN is generally accompanied by anomalous behavior as intruding
wireless clients trying to find network vulnerabilities. Basic forms of this behavior can be monitored and
reported without a dedicated WIPS.
This screen displays the statistics of the WIPS events, the AP which reported the event, the unauthorized
device, and so on.

Identifies whether the radio is 802.11b, 802.11bg, 802.11bgn, 802.11a, or
802.11an.
Displays the radio's current operational mode, either calibrate, normal, sensor
or offline.
Displays the operating channel assigned to the AP radio.
Displays the power level in dBm for the selected radio.
