3 DRIVE THE MOTOR

3.1 Step of operation

The inverter needs frequency command and start command.
Refer to the flow chart below to perform setting.

CAUTION
Check the following items before powering on the inverter.
· Check that the inverter is installed correctly in a correct place. (Refer to page 6)
· Check that wiring is correct. (Refer to page 8)
· Check that no load is connected to the motor.
·When protecting the motor from overheat by the inverter, set Pr.9 Electronic thermal O/L relay (Refer
to page 32)
· When the rated frequency of the motor is 50Hz, set Pr.3 Base frequency (Refer to page 33)
