Remote Connection

You can remotely connect the Gear S to the
smartphone when a Bluetooth connection
between the devices is not available. When this
feature is activated, you can receive notifications
from the smartphone and use apps that require
a network connection on the Gear S. For more
information, refer to "Connection Modes" on page
14.
1. On smartphone: Sign in to your Samsung
account.
2. On smartphone: Tap Apps > Samsung
Gear > Settings, and then tap Use Remote
connection.
