    CTT 30 / CTT 60 / CTT 120 3.1. Gen eral In for ma tion The de hu mid i fied air dry ers were de vel oped for dry ing plas tic gran ules. Due to their com pact con struc tion, they can be em ployed next to the pro cess ing ma - chine (dry ing hop per on the pro cess ing ma chine) or with one or more dry ing hop - pers as a mov able fa cil ity (com pact fa cil ity).
  • Page 24 CTT 30 / CTT 60 / CTT 120 The dryer is equipped with two drying cells. One drying cell is part of the drying cy- cle; the other drying cell is regenerated simultaneously. Part of the dehumidified air is used for regenerating the moist drying cell. At the beginning of regeneration, it is heated by the regeneration heater.

    CTT 30 / CTT 60 / CTT 120 3.2. Drying Hop per (Op tional) The ma te rial is dried in the dry ing hop per. The de hu mid i fied air is con ducted through the ma te rial in the dry ing hop per and takes up mois ture. Drying hop pers must have the ap pro pri ate di men sions for their spe cific use so that the de sired fi - nal mois ture con tent is reached.

    CTT 30 / CTT 60 / CTT 120 3.2.1. Hop per Heater Each dry ing hop per has its own hop per heater. The tem per a ture of the de hu mid i fied air is ad justed by means of the thermo reg u la tor. The set ting range is from +70 - +180 °C.
