6 • System Options

Setting Auto Date Advance

Your system automatically advances the date at a time you specify.
The date advance time is factory set to 00:00 (midnight). If your mail
is picked up at a certain time each day, you can set the system to
advance the date just after the mail pickup time.
1. Press Options.
2. Select "Setup".
3. Select "Time and Timeouts".
4. Select "Auto Date Advance Time".
5. Type in the time in 24 hour format.
6. Select "OK". The display returns to Time and Timeouts menu.
7. Press Home to return to home screen.
NOTE: If you want to turn the date advance feature off
so that the date changes at midnight, select the 'Disable'
option.

Correct Drift

Sometimes, the time on the machine may need to be corrected due
to internal drift or the activation of Daylight Saving Time.
1. Press Options.
2. Select "Setup".
3. Select "Time and Timeouts".
4. Select "Set Time".
5. Key in the correct time (24 hour clock). then select "OK".
NOTE: the limits of time correction are displayed below the time
display.
6. Confirm the change by selecting "Yes".
7. The display returns to Time and Timeouts menu.
8. Press Home to return to home screen.
