3 • Running Mail
Printing the Date and Time or Envelope Messaging on

Incoming Mail

You can set up your mailing system to print the date and time, a
Graphic Ad or Text Message on incoming pieces of mail. This feature
is only available on certain models in the DM300c/DM400c/DM475
series.
1. Press Options.
2. Select "Printing Options."
3. Select "Text-Ad-Date-Time Mode."
Date-Time -This option allows you to toggle between "Print"
and "Do Not Print."
Ad - This option allows you to select a Graphic Ad to print on
the envelope/tape.
Text - This option allows you to select a Text Message
to print on the envelope/tape. Refer to page 3-21, Text
Messages for more information.
4. Feed envelopes as described on page 3-14/3-15.
NOTE: Make sure you orient the mail piece so the date and time
prints on a blank section of the mail piece.
5. Select "Return to Normal Mode" when finished to return you to
the Home screen.

Permit Printing

This option allows you to use your system to print postage paid
impressions. It is only available if you have a licence with your Postal
Authority to process 'bulk' mail.
1. Press Options.
2. Select 'Printing Options.
3. Select 'Permits'.
4. Select any other printing elements required by your Postal
Authority and process your envelopes in the normal way.
