Displaying the disc text
information
With Auto Scroll or Scroll selected, you can
display the text and scroll it on the monitor if it
is long and cannot be displayed at a time.

• Scroll: Text on the information area
scrolls once.
• Auto Scroll: Text on the information area
scrolls every 5 seconds.
• Off: The information area goes off
(no text information will be
shown).

• TIME: Elapsed playing time of the current
chapter/track
• REM: Remaining time of the current
chapter/track
• TOTAL: Elapsed title time (for DVD)
Elapsed disc time (for other discs)
• T.REM: Remaining title time (for DVD)

Selecting playback modes

You can use only one of the following playback
modes at a time—Repeat Play, Random Play,
and Intro Scan.
• For VCD: While PBC is not in use.
Repeat Play
You can repeat playback.
• Repeat Play can be deactivated only for DVD.

• CHAPTER:Repeats the current chapter.
• TITLE: Repeats the current title.
• TRACK: Repeats the current track.
• FOLDER: Repeats the current folder.
• OFF: For DVD: Cancels Repeat Play.
For VCD/CD/MP3:
Repeats the disc.
