Using Differential Weighing

Differential Weighing is an optional feature that allows you to
place all your mixed weight mail on the scale and have the system
automatically calculate the correct weight as you remove each
mail piece. It is a fast and convenient method for processing mixed
weight, but same class mail.
1. Select the Account (if applicable), the Class and any other
options desired for these mail pieces.
NOTE:

mail piece, call your local post offi ce or visit www.USPS.com.
2. Press Enter (for "Done") when finished entering all the options
and fees.
3. Press Weigh/Rate.
4. Select "Differential Weighing".

◄ Zero the Scale
◄ Rate the Mail on Scale
◄ Enter Weight Manually
◄ Differential Weighing
5. At the "Start Differential Weighing" screen, place the items on the
scale.
Start Differential
Place all mail on scale.
