Adjusting the sound

You can adjust the sound characteristics to your
preference.

Select the item you want to adjust.
Each time you press the
button, the adjustable
items change as follows:
For KD-G801:
BAL
FAD
(fader) (balance)
VOL
(volume)
For KD-G701:
FAD
(fader)

(volume)

FAD Adjust the front
and rear speaker
balance.
BAL Adjust the left
and right speaker
balance.
LOUD Boost low and
high frequencies
to produce a
well-balanced
sound at low
volume level.

WOOFER Adjust the
(only for subwoofer
KD-G801) output level.

If you are using a two-speaker system, set the fader
level to "00."

This takes effect only when a subwoofer is
connected.

Normally the control dial works as the volume
control. So you do not have to select "VOL" to
adjust the volume level.

Adjust the setting.
