SYSTEM SETUP:
• Condenser microphones or lines to inputs 1-8. Rear panel Phantom Master switch ON.
• Connect Dynamic microphones or line level signals to inputs 9-16.
• Connect XLR Stereo Outputs to a sound system, tape recorder etc.
• Connect 1/4" Monitor Outputs to a power amplifier and speakers.
• Power up and select 20 db switches for high level instruments, CD, tape, samplers etc.
• Set Monitor Out level knob to 12 o'clock position or preferred listening level.
• Select METER key and adjust gain trim controls for peak levels at a +6 reading.
• Select CUE key. Dial ST FIX with parameter wheel and select ENTER.
This enables monitoring of the mix to both main (Stereo Out) and Monitor outputs.
• Set Stereo Output fader to "0" level. Select ON key.
• Set Input Channel faders to "0" level. Select ON keys.
OPERATION:
• Assemble mix levels and save to one of 50 memory locations. Select a SCENE
MEMORY Up or Down key and choose a memory number. Select STORE key twice.
• Select STORE key once to create a title for the memory using parameter wheel.
• Select PAN key and channel SELECT key(s) to pan signals using parameter wheel.
• Select SEND 1 key. Choose effects by selecting EXIT with the gray "arrow" keys
and then ENTER. Select RECALL and scroll through effects menu with parameter
wheel. Select ENTER to activate desired effects program. Edit parameters using
Edit mode with arrow keys, ENTER key and parameter wheel. Bring up input faders
to set send levels at +6 peaks on meters. Adjust blue RETURN fader as required.
** SELECT METER KEY RETURNING FADERS TO CHANNEL LEVEL STATUS!
• Select EQ keys and SELECT key for equalizing inputs, effects returns, and stereo
outputs. Use arrow keys and wheel to edit EQ parameters.
• Select COMP key to access three compressors. PATCH to: inputs, sends 3&4, or
stereo outputs with arrow keys and parameter wheel. Select RECALL for type of
compressor, gate or ducker and ENTER. Edit with ENTER key and wheel.
• Select CUE key and "Last Cue" mode with parameter wheel and ENTER key.
Solo desired inputs in this mode without affecting stereo main outputs.
• Select GROUP key. Create a subgroup by choosing input SELECT keys. Faders
will track together (any ONE acting as a submaster). Change relative levels using
right arrow key and ENTER. When ON, subgrouped fader balance can be changed.
Return to subgroup status using ENTER key (OFF).
• Select PAIR key. Choose pairs of inputs using arrow keys. Select stereo or mono
X 2 modes with parameter wheel and ENTER key. Use for editing equalizer and aux.

• Select STORE key three times in the SCENE MEMORY block to save all of the above
revisions to the mix. Any subsequent fader move or parameter change will display
EDIT by the memory number. Store the updated mix OR return to the previous mix by
selecting RECALL.
