Hood sensor
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
Remove the drive cage
4.
Unplug the hood sensor cable from the white system board connector labeled HSENSE (1) and
remove the cable from the white clip mounted on the inside chassis wall (2).
5.
Slide the hood sensor into the chassis to remove it from its slot (3). Disengaging the hood sensor
from the chassis may require use of a screwdriver or similar tool.
To install the hood sensor, reverse the removal procedures.
