Specifying the Last Destination Dialed Using Numeric
Keys
This mode enables you to specify the last destination that was dialed using the numeric keys.
This feature comes in handy when sending several documents to the same destination.
NOTE
•
If you specified more than one destination using the numeric keys, you can only redial the last
destination specified.
•
You cannot redial a destination that you specified using One-touch Speed Dialing or Coded Speed
Dialing.

2-20 Various Dialing Methods
The functions of the keys displayed when entering the other party's number are as follows:
- "Backspace": Press when a wrong number is entered. The last number entered is deleted,
enabling you to enter the correct number.
- "Pause": Press to insert a pause of several seconds in the telephone number that you are
dialing. If you insert a pause, the letter <p> is displayed between the numbers, and also
the letter <P> appears at the end of the number. When dialing an overseas number, insert
a pause after the access number, and also at the end of the telephone number. (See
'Setting the Pause Time,' on p. 5-30.)
- "Tone": Press when directly calling an extension line connected to a Private Branch
Exchange (PBX) that accepts only push signals from a dial line.
- "Next": Press to specify another destination after specifying the first destination using the
numeric keys. (See 'Specifying Two or More Destinations,' on p. 2-26.)
