Electronic system lock

The system lock prevents your
machine being used without your
knowledge.
You can switch on the system lock if
required.
The dryer's electronics are then locked.
The dryer can still be switched on but a
programme cannot be started.
– If an attempt is made to start a
programme, the indicator light for the
Low temperature button will come on
and the key symbol 0-§ will appear
in the display.
The door is not locked and can be
opened at any time.
Locking
Before you begin, first ensure that:
– The dryer is switched off.
– The door is closed.
A Press the Low temperature button
and keep it pressed in up to step E.
B Press the jk button.
The Automatic plus indicator light will
come on.
C Slowly turn the programme selector
three positions stage by stage in a
clockwise direction.
Each of the three programme
indicator lights must come on one
after the other.

D Now slowly turn the programme
selector six positions stage by stage
in an anti-clockwise direction.
Each of the six programme indicator
lights must come on one after the
other.
The indicator light for the Low
temperature button will flash and a key
symbol 0-§ will appear in the display.
E Release the Low temperature button.
The system lock is activated.
^ Switch the dryer off.
Deactivating the system lock
Before you begin, first ensure that:
– The dryer is switched off.
– The door is closed.
^ The procedure is the same as for
activating the lock. Repeat steps A
to E.
At step E the indicator light for the Low
temperature button will stop flashing
and the key symbol 0-§ will go out.
The electronics are no longer locked.
