Getting started

This chapter describes a NX-10 installation with the menu driven keypad allowing you to program
the system easily using a menu structure.

Country codes

The NX-10 has the ability to set different "country codes". Each country code has specific default
settings. When you start your system for the first time (see Powering up the system below) and select
keypad defaults during the initial keypad setup, the respective country code is also set up
automatically for the panel. Once the country code has been selected, it will remain set, even after an
installer reset. When changing the country code during programming, all existing programming will
be cleared to the defaults for that country
Note:
