Idle Speed Inspection
Refer to the Idle Speed Inspection in the Periodic Main-
Throttle Bore Cleaning
Refer to the Throttle Body Cleaning in the Periodic Main-
Throttle Body Assy Removal
Gasoline is extremely flammable and can be ex-
plosive under certain conditions. Always stop the
engine and do not smoke. Make sure the area is
well-ventilated and free from any source of flame
or sparks; this includes any appliance with a pilot
Never drop the throttle body assy, especially on a
hard surface. Such a shock to the throttle body
assy can damage it.

Fuel Hose (see Fuel Hose Replacement in the Periodic
Air Cleaner Housing with Rear Frame (see Rear Frame
Removal in the Frame chapter)
Intake Air Pressure Sensor Connector [A]
Fuel Injector Connector [B]
Open the clamp [C].
Loosen the clamp screw [A].
Open the clamp [B].
Open the two clamps fully along the throttle body assy
for easily removing.
