Troubleshooting

Problem
Nothing happens
when the trigger is
pulled.
Laser comes on,
but symbol does
not decode.

Possible Cause

Interface/power

Possible Solutions
Check the system power. Ensure the power
supply is connected if the configuration
requires a power supply.
Check for loose cable connections.
Ensure the scanner is programmed to read
the type of bar code scanned.

keyboard type, and the CAPS LOCK key is
off.

programmed.
