In this way, you can use "Track Play Loop" to make the real-
time recording process more efficient (☞QS p.25).
0–7: Sampling
Here you can make settings for analog/digital audio signal
input (AUDIO INPUT, S/P DIF), and settings for sampling
in Sequencer mode.
You can sample either an external audio signal, or a perfor-
mance played on the TRITON Extreme.
The TRITON Extreme can also be used as a 4-in 6-out effect
processor. (☞Program P0: 0–3)
It is not possible to realtime-record a song or pattern
while sampling.
You can't record to media on a device connected to the
USB A connector.

These parameters select the input source (e.g., analog/digi-
tal audio device or musical instrument), specify the input
level, pan, bus, and master effect send levels.
The various Input settings will apply to Combination,
Program, Sequencer, Song Play, and Media modes.

Here you can make sampling-related settings for Sequencer
mode.

Trigger
Specifies the trigger that will initiate sampling.
Sampling START SW: (☞Program P0: 0–3)
Note On: (☞Program P0: 0–3)
Threshold: Sampling will begin automatically when the
input level exceeds the specified "Level" value. (☞Sampling
P0: 0–7b)
Sequencer START SW: Press the SAMPLING [REC] key
and then the SAMPLING [START/STOP] key to enter sam-
pling-standby mode. Then press the SEQUENCER [START/
STOP] key to begin sampling. Use this when you want to
resample the song playback.
0–7c: Recording Level [dB]

Recording Level
Adjusts the final signal level for sampling. (☞Sampling P0:
0–1d)
0–7
This setting defaults to –12 dB when you turn on the power.
At a setting of –12 dB, CLIP!! will not appear even if you
play the Song at its maximum level.

program after sampling. "Select Bank & Smpl No." can be

selected if you have chosen RAM for "Save to."

In Sequencer mode, the metronome count-in will oper-
ate according to the Metronome Setup (0–8b) setting.
The various Sampling Setup settings apply to the entire
Sequencer mode, not to individual songs.
