PROBABLE CAUSE
E. High temperature safety
switch tripped.
F. GFCI tripped.
G. Faulty pump or motor.
A. Clogged strainer(s).
B. Leakage of air into suction
line.
C. Vibrating parts attached to
motor or support brackets.
D. Malfunctioning safety
suction valve.
E. Damaged or worn motor
bearings.
F. Impeller rubbing inside
case.
A. Worn or damaged pump
seal.
A. OFF mode selected.
B. House circuit breaker
tripped or in off position.
C. GFCI tripped.
D. Improper or defective
wiring.
E. High temperature safety
switch tripped.
F. Inadequate electrical
supply.
G. Locked shaft or Impeller.
H. Motor windings burned out.
I. Defective starting switch
inside motor.
A. Motor overload condition.
B. Selector switch failure.
C. Relay failure.
D. Inadequate supply wiring.
E. Relay failure.
F. Motor overheated due to
lack of ventilation,
especially if on carpeted surface.
REMEDY
E. Reset button on heater after
water has cooled; see *Note if
switch continues to trip.
