Inserting two R6 (size AA)
batteries into the remote
Slide and remove the battery compartment lid,
and insert the two R6 (size AA) batteries, E side
first, matching the polarities shown below.
Note
• If you do not use the remote for a long period of time,
remove the batteries to avoid possible damage from
battery leakage and corrosion.
Tip
• With normal use, the batteries should last for about
six months. When the remote no longer operates the
system, replace both batteries with new ones.
Attaching the speaker pads
To attach the supplied speaker pads at each
corner on the bottom of the speakers to prevent
them from slipping.
Remove the foot pads
from the protective cover.
Note
• Use caution when placing the speakers and/or
speaker stands attached to the speakers on a specially
treated (waxed, oiled, polished, etc.) floor, as
staining or discoloration may result.

Selecting a language

You can change the on-screen display language.

Turn on your TV and select the video
input.

Press ?/1 to turn on the system.

Press FUNCTION +/– repeatedly to
switch the function to DVD/CD.
Playback starts automatically if a disc with
auto playback function is loaded. Press x to
stop playback.

Press SETUP.
The Setup Menu appears.

Press < or , repeatedly to select
"General Setup Page", then press

Press M or m repeatedly to select "OSD
Lang", then press

Press M or m repeatedly to select a
language from the displayed list, then
press
.

Press SETUP to turn off the Setup
Menu.
