Inspection
1. Check freeplay:
3/8 13/16 in (10 20 mm)
If necessary, adjust to the specified
range.
Upper Adjustment
Attempt adjustment with the upper clutch
cable adjuster first.

(3) upper clutch cable adjuster
( ) increase freeplay
( ) decrease freeplay
1. Loosen the upper lock nut ( ).
2. Turn the upper clutch cable adjuster ( )
to obtain the specified freeplay.
3. Tighten the upper lock nut and check
the freeplay again.
