Use the following procedure to remove the top cover assembly.
1. Close the LCD panel and turn the system over.
2. Remove the screw in the battery bay.
Locate and remove the screws securing the top cover to the system. Remove the foot closest

Turn the system over and open the LCD panel as far as it will go.

5. Remove the keyboard and the front cover assembly from the system.
6. Carefully pull off the Power button.
