You can now add items to your new Home screen.
Page Buddy
In addition to the Home screen pages, your device can display
a contextual page when specific events occur: the S Pen is
removed, earphones or a dock attached, or the device is
roaming. The "page buddy" lets you perform specific tasks and
changes the apps available in the favourites tray to
recommended apps based on the event.
To modify which pages are shown:
1. From any Home screen, press
Display > Page buddy.
2. Touch and slide the Page buddy slider to the right to turn it ON
.
3. Tap to activate or deactivate each option. When the
feature is on, a green check mark will appear.
• S Pen page: When the S Pen is removed, a contextual page
will appear.
• Earphones page: When a compatible headset is connected,
a contextual page will appear.

• Docking page: When connected to a compatible cradle, a
contextual page will appear
• Roaming page: When the device is roaming, a contextual
page will appear.

In the example below, when the S Pen is detached, the
following page appears and is made available from the home
screen indicator:
To access the page from any other home screen, tap
the home screen indicator.
