CHECKING THE BRAKE SHOES/

2. Adjust:
• brake lever free play
a. Turn the adjusting nut 1 in direction a or
b until the specified brake lever free play is
obtained.

CAUTION:

After adjusting the brake lever free play,
make sure there is no brake drag.

CHECKING THE BRAKE SHOES
1. Operate the brake.
2. Check:
• wear indicator 1
Reaches the wear limit line 2 → Replace
the brake shoes as a set.
Refer to "FRONT WHEEL AND BRAKE"
and "REAR WHEEL AND BRAKE" in chap-
ter 4.

1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.
