Using the Save to File (STF) Feature

STF protects the integrity of your working files. For example, if you are called
away from your NEC Versa and Suspend mode is selected with auto Save to
File active, your system automatically goes into Suspend mode. After 30
minutes, if you don't return, your working environment is saved to a special file
on your hard disk.
Using STF can benefit you in the following ways.

When in STF, there is minimum battery drain.
T
Preserves the life of your NEC Versa.
T
Saves you time. When you return from that urgent call or meeting, you
don't have to reboot, just press the Power/Sleep button to resume system
operation.
To configure your NEC Versa's STF feature follow these steps:
1. Access the BIOS setup utility.
2. Select Power Management from the Setup Main Menu.
3. Move the cursor down and highlight Suspend Option.

There are three ways to invoke the NEC Versa's STF feature, one automatic and
two manual.
