Refer to page 8-15 and install the CPU/IO module.

Connect the power cords.

Press the POWER switch to power on the server.

Verify that POST displays no error message.
If POST displays an error message, write it down and see the POST error message list on page
7-4.

After starting the OS, set the paging file size to at least the recommended value (1.5 times the
installed memory size). (See "Size of the Partition to be Created" in Chapter 4 of the User's
Guide (Setup).)
