REP 7.4 Laser Assembly

Removal
Switch off the power and disconnect the Power Cord.
1. Remove the Front Cover Assembly
2. Remove the Left Front Cover (REP
3. Open the Rear Cover.
4. Remove the Top Cover Assembly (REP
5. Remove the four screws securing the Laser Assembly to the printer
6. Raising the Laser Assembly slightly disconnect P/J213 and P/J223 from the rear and two
connectors from the bottom of the Laser Assembly
7. Remove the Laser Assembly from the printer

Replacement
1. Reinstall the components in the reverse order.

Removal

1. Remove Tray 1.
2. Remove the Left Interface Cover
3. Remove Front Cover Assembly
4. Remove the Left Front Cover
1). 5. Remove MBF Chute Assembly
6. Remove the Paper Handler Assembly
7. Remove Top Cover Assembly
8. Remove Right Cover
9. Remove the two K-clips that secure the Print Cartridge Locking Arm.
10. Remove the five screws on the right side of the frame
11. Remove the Print Cartridge Side Guide
12. Remove the Spring Clip
Replacement
1. Reinstall the components in the reverse order.
