Alphanumerical Keypad

Some features need alphanumerical entries.
In these cases the keypad switches
automatically to alphanumerical mode. To
make entries in alphanumerical
mode, press the corresponding key as often
as necessary to get letters, numbers or
symbols. If the next entry is on the same key,
wait until the courser jumps to the next
position.
Example : P R I V A T E 1x Key 7 - Pause 3x Key 7 – Pause - 3x Key 4 - 3x Key 8 -
1x Key 2 - 1x Key 8 - 2x Key 3

Entries in the Phone Book

Enter the complete telephone number, so the name will appear in the list of incoming
calls / on the display when calling!
1. The handset is in standby (no tone)
2. Press the menu key B (4).
3. Press the arrow key l
4. Press the menu key B (4).
5. SEARCH is displayed.
6. Press the arrow key l
7. Press the menu key B (4).
8. NAME is displayed.
9. Enter the name using the alphanumerical keypad.
10. Press the menu key B (4).
11. Enter the number using the alphanumerical keypad.
12. Press the menu key B (4).
13. The handset emits a long tone and the name and number are stored in the phone
book memory.

Searching Phone Book Entries

1. The handset is in standby (no tone).
2. Press the menu key B (4).
3. Press the arrow key l
4. Press the menu key B (4).
5. SEARCH is displayed.
