Removing an accessible drive

► Remove the casing cover (see Chapter "Removing the casing cover", Page 37).
► Disconnect any cables connected to the drive.

► Slide the retaining mechanism in the direction of the arrow (1).
► Pull the drive out of the drive cage in the direction of the arrow (2).
► If you do not install a new drive, then a drive placeholder must be installed in the drive
bay to prevent any foreign objects from entering the casing.
► Fit the casing cover back onto the casing (see Chapter "Reattaching the casing cover.", Page 38).
It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
