The correct quantity of oil is equal to the oil capacity of the engine crankcase and is 38 fluid oz (1.13 L) for this model GEN7000 7000 Surge Watts / 6000 Running Watts Electric Start Portable Generator. Add the correct quantity of oil before operating this generator for the first time. -

3. Slowly add fresh, unleaded gasoline (with an octane rating 87 or higher) to the fuel tank. Be careful not to fill the fuel tank above the upper limit line. Select a combination of the electrical devices that will have a total wattage less than or equal to the rated wattage for the generator, i.e., no more than 6000 for this Model GEN7000 7000 Surge Watts / 6000 Running Watts Electric Start Portable Generator. - Page 18 60Hz loads with a NEMA L14-30 plug only to the 240/120 Volt outlet.
