Glossary
remote sensor—Connects to the USB port on the computer so
that you can change channels using the HP MediaBuddy Remote
Control.
RF coaxial—An audio/video transmission type that provides
standard video quality. RF coaxial cables are used to connect
your TV source to the TV tuner.
set-top box—A device that enables your television to receive
cable or satellite broadcasts. In your setup, the set-top box is
connected to the TV tuner to enable your computer to receive
cable or satellite broadcasts. Set-top boxes are provided by your
cable or satellite service.
S-Video—A video transmission type that provides better video
quality than RF coaxial and composite video types.
TV tuner—Allows you to watch and record TV programming on
your computer.
Windows Media Center—A home entertainment feature of the
Windows Vista operating system. When used with the TV tuner,
you can watch and record television on your computer.
