General Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

1. Make all necessary adjustments to the Jigsaw.
2. Make sure that all guards are in place in
proper working order before operation.
3. Plug the Power Cord into the nearest
120 volt, grounded, electrical outlet.
4. Hold the jigsaw so that the blade is near the start
of cut, but not touching the workpiece. Firmly
grip the Handle with one hand and squeeze
and hold the Trigger to turn on the Jigsaw.
5. Press the Lock ON Button then release the
Trigger to set the Jigsaw into continuous mode.
6. Allow the Saw Blade to reach full speed then
rest the Baseplate on the workpiece and
guide the Saw Blade into the workpiece.

7. Do not force the Jigsaw to cut faster
than it is designed to cut. Feed the Saw
Blade gradually into the workpiece.
8. Turn off the Jigsaw if the Saw Blade is to be
backed out of an uncompleted cut. When turning
off the Jigsaw, allow the Saw Blade to fully stop
on its own before removing the Jigsaw. Do
not press against the Saw Blade to stop it.
9. Once the cutting job is completed, release
the Trigger and wait until the Saw Blade
stops. If using the Lock on feature, press and
release the Trigger to turn off the Jigsaw.
10. To prevent accidents, unplug the Power Cord
from its electrical outlet. Clean, then store
the tool indoors out of children's reach.
