ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Assemble the base to the support pole using the fastener provided. (Fig 1)
2. Loosen the height adjustment ring and extend the support pole. Initially the support
pole will be held tightly in place. If necessary, use a pair of pliers to grasp the support
pole and pull it into position.
3. To assemble the safety grille and blade assembly, remove the spinner (by turning it
clockwise), then the locking nut (by turning it anticlockwise) from the motor spindle.
4. Fix the safety grille into position on the locking lugs then secure the locking nut tightly
by hand (Fig 2). Do not overturn the locking nut by force.
5. The groove in the center of the fan blade aligns with a T-bar on the motor shaft to
ensure correct positioning.
6. Fix the blade into place gently by hand. Tighten the spinner (Fig 3) anticlockwise onto
the end of the motor shaft.
