Etendre la rallonge à sa longeur totale. Mettre la
bague de verrouillage en position verrouillé LOCK.

Aligner les bosses sur les fentes en "J" du tuyau.
Pousser la rallonge dans le tuyau et tourner vers
la droite pour verrouiller.
Pour atteindre le plus loin possible avec les
accessoires, ajouter le suceur plat à l'extrémité de la
rallonge. L'insérer et le faire tourner légèrement.

UTILISATION DU RÉGLAGE
COULISSANT
Lors de l'utilisation d'outils pour le nettoyage de
rideaux, de petits tapis à poil court et autre article
délicat, tourner le réglage coulissant à la position
ouverte. Ceci réduira l'aspiration pour un nettoy-
age plus aisé.
Le réglage coulissant est situé sur le tube téle-
scopique, près du tuyau.
Remarque: Remettre le réglage coulissant à la
position fermée pour l'aspiration normale.
Si l'aspirateur ne nettoie pas correctement, vérifi-
er que le réglage coulissant est fermé.
ATTENTION
Avec les accessoires installés en position, il faut
faire attention de ne pas essayer d'atteindre trop
loin. L'aspirateur peut se renverser quand on
essaie d'étirer de trop le tuyau extensible.
POUR RANGER LES
ACCESSOIRES
Enlever la brosse mixte. Les mettre dans leur loge-
ment.
Débrancher le suceur plat de la rallonge en le faisant
tourner. Le mettre de côté.
Débrancher la rallonge du tuyau.
Faire tourner la rallonge vers la gauche et tirer pour
la sortir du tuyau.
ATTENTION
NE PAS tirer l'aspirateur par le tuyau car on
pourrait causer des dommages.
Déverrouiller la rallonge en faisant tourner la bague
de verrouillage à la position UNLOCK.
Faire glisser la portion inférieure de la rallonge dans
la portion supérieure. Faire tourner la bague de ver-
rouillage à la position LOCK.
Mettre le suceur plat dans la rallonge comprimée.
Enfoncer dans le logement approprié.

MOTOR PROTECTION
SYSTEM
Motor Protector
This vacuum cleaner has a motor protector
by-pass valve which automatically opens to
provide cooling air to the vacuum cleaner
motor when a clog prevents the normal
flow of air to the motor. The by-pass valve
opens to prevent motor overheating and
possible damage to the vacuum cleaner.
You will notice a change of sound as air
rushes through the valve opening.
To correct problem install a new dust
bag. If using attachments, adjust to
allow for greater air flow.
NOTE: The motor
protector may open when
using attachments or
when cleaning new
carpet due to reduced
airflow caused by the
attachments themselves

or by new carpet lint
filling the dust bag quickly. To correct
problem install a new dust bag. If using
attachments, adjust to allow for greater
air flow.
Note: Do not block motor protector.
Thermal Protector
This vacuum cleaner has a thermal
protector, which automatically trips to
protect the vacuum cleaner from
overheating. If a clog prevents the normal
flow of air to the motor, the thermal
protector turns the motor off automatically.
This allows the motor to cool in order to
prevent possible damage to the vacuum
cleaner.
To correct problem: Turn the vacuum
cleaner off and unplug the power cord
from the outlet to allow the vacuum
cleaner to cool and the thermal protector
to reset. Check for and remove clogs,
replace bag if necessary. CLOG
REMOVAL section. Also check and
replace any clogged filters. Wait
approximately 40-50 minutes before
restarting vacuum cleaner.
