• When the electrical CC filter switching function
has been assigned to an ASSIGN switch, or
when a remote control unit has been connected.
(In these cases, the contents of white balance
memory are linked to electrical CC filter
positions (A to D).)
If the WHITE BAL switch is set to B, and on the
WHITE SETTING page of the OPERATION
menu, the WHITE SWITCH <B> item is set to
"ATW (Auto Tracing White Balance)", the ATW
function is activated to automatically adjust the
white balance of the picture being shot for
varying lighting conditions.
To save white balance settings obtained by ATW
Set ATW HOLD MEMORY in the WHITE
SETTING page of the OPERATION menu to
"ON". When this is done, auto white balance
settings obtained by ATW are written to the
memory corresponding to the setting (A or B) that
is currently selected with the WHITE BAL

switch.
You can then turn ATW off and continue
shooting with the current white balance values.
The unit continues to use the values that were in
effect immediately before ATW was turned off.
1) This function is not available when the WHITE BAL
switch is set to PRST. If you have connected a remote
control unit, the unit uses the memory corresponding
to the remote control unit setting (A, B, or C).
