Limited Warranty
Sony Electronics Inc. and Sony of Canada Ltd. (in Canada) ("Sony") warrants this product
("Product") against defects in material or workmanship. For one
(1)
year from the date of original
purchase, Sony will replace the Product at no charge or at Sony's option, refund the purchase price
shown on your receipt. To obtain warranty service in the U.S. or Canada please call the number
listed in this manual for the address to which to send the Product, postage prepaid.
REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF THIS PRODUCT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. SONY SHALL
NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, INCLUDING CONSEQUENTIAL, CHANGES,
ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT OR FOR BREACH
OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION ON THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT
TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN
DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
Some states/jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty or condition
lasts or exclusions or limitations of consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations
or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state in the U.S. and Puerto Rico or from province to
province or territory in Canada.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class Bdigital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, used
in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If
this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can
be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
