EXPLANATION
A summary display appears.
"IN: L" appears for wireless zones and indicates
input type and loop.
"IN: AD" appears for wired expansion zones (AW)
and indicates the module's address (AD), which is
based on the zone number.
"HW: RT" appears for basic wired zones and
indicates configuration (EOL, NO, NC, zone
doubling, double-balanced) and response time
selection.
Each zone must be assigned to a zone type, which
defines the way in which the system responds to
faults in that zone.
Enter the Zone Type code from the list below:
Note: If 00 is entered, Delete Zone ? will be
displayed.
00 = Not used
01 = Entry/exit #1
02 = Entry/exit #2
03 = Perimeter
04 = Interior Follower
05 = Trouble
Day/Alarm Night
06 = 24-Hr Silent
07 = 24-Hr Audible
08 = 24-Hr Aux
09 = Fire
10 = Interior w/Delay
12 = Monitor Zone

Partition 1 is shown entered. (3 = Common
Partition).
Enter the report code for this zone, which consists of 2
hexadecimal digits, each in turn consisting of 2
numerical digits. For example, for a report code of
"10," enter 01 and 00.

first digit enables the report code for this zone. Refer
to the System Communication section for
information about report codes and formats.
