Have a third person raise up and hold the island range hood in position, connect power plug to the 12” hanging SV300 Series Standard Class (3 Speed Mechanical Control) electrical cord, and connect the duct work to the range hood. 10. Mount the hood to the lower support frame using four “D” bolts and four “E” nuts: Securely fasten two “E” Low Speed High Speed nuts to two “D” bolts by reaching up from the underside of the hood. Repeat this step to secure the other side using two “E” nuts to two “D” bolts. 11. After all four “D” bolts and four “E” nuts securely fastened, connect the lower end of the duct tube to the hood and slide the lower chimney cover down carefully so that it sits on top of the hood. 12. Install grease cup and aluminum filters then check the operation of the range hood. Island Hood Installation Overview Medium Speed Power Switch Light Switch Turn On: • Press the speed control (Low Speed, Medium Speed, High Speed) switch to select the desired level of power. Once button is pressed, the previous speed mode will cancel. • Press the Light Switch to power on the lights. CAUTION: DO NOT touch the lights until switched OFF and cooled. Turn Off: • Press the Power Switch to turn off the power.

Maintenance Warranty (Continued) Replacing J4 Type Halogen Light Bulb: TO OBTAIN SERVICE UNDER WARRANTY: • This range hood uses halogen light bulb: 20W 12V (Product ID: SV-ACS-HAL20W-B). You must present proof of original purchase date. • Make sure the range hood is unplugged or turn OFF breaker and the lights are cool to touch. • Rotate the light housing and lens cover counter clockwise, carefully and gently pry up the lens cover. Please provide an original dated proof of purchase (sales receipt / invoice) in order to obtain service under warranty. • Remove the old halogen light bulb by pulling in the direction of wavy arrow. Do not touch the new light bulb with bare hands. One Year Parts Warranty: • Reverse the steps to install a new halogen light bulb. Turn ON breaker and range hood to test for operation. For one year from the date of original purchase, your local reseller will provide free of charge, non-consumable replace- ment parts or components that failed due to manufacturing defects. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth WARNING below, your local reseller will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by your local reseller on an exchange basis, and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. The consumer is re- sponsible for all shipping costs. Consumable parts not covered by this warranty include but not limited to: Light bulbs, Hazard of Burns! metal, aluminum and charcoal filters. Upon acceptance of items, owner assumes responsibility for its safe arrival. Report damages to the carrier and file a claim immediately. Failure to do so may result in the denial of your claim. The carrier will furnish you with necessary forms for filing a claim. Damages caused during transit are not covered under our warranty. Please contact us to file an insurance claim. Please inspect contents of package(s) carefully upon receiving! We must be notified of any damages and/or missing parts within five (5) days upon your receipt of package(s). Claims will not be accepted after five (5) days. NOTE: Items were thoroughly tested and carefully packed in our factory before shipping. Products must be returned in good working condition with ALL original parts and documentation packed in ALL original cartons, fillers and shipping cartons. A restocking fee of 15% will be charged for all approved return(s). Exchanges or returns may not be accepted if any packaging is missing. Make sure to inspect the hood for damages and defects before installation.
