Driving in winter
The mixture put in the system by the fac-
tory provides frost protection down to
about -25° C. To ensure that frost pro-
tection is adequate, the coolant should
be checked before the cold season be-
gins and if necessary coolant additive
G 11 (undiluted) added.
If greater protection against frost is re-
quired, the proportion of G 11 additive
can be increased, but only up to 60%
otherwise the anti-freeze protection is
reduced and furthermore the cooling
effect is impaired.
