I N T R O D U C T I O N
The ice cubes maker is the result of years of experience in this field and the development of a high technology factory.
The chassis, made of 18/8 stainless steel make this machine one of the best designed on the market.
Other important features are:
- Storage bin made of polyester stregthened with glass fibre or ABS.
- Polyurethane insulation inyected "IN SITU".
- Heavy duty door (pat.).
- Agitator motor for continuous service.
- Tough cam motor (50 Kg/cm).
- Safety device and clutch for the water pan preventing its breakage during the upward cycle, (pat.).
- Low noise.
- Easy to maintain and repair.
The range of machine can give you from 20 Kg. per day of production.

1. INSPECTION
Check the outer packing and if it is damaged report this to the transporting agent.
To be sure the machine is undamaged UNPACK THIS IN THE TRANSPORTER'S PRESENCE, and note on the delivery document
or on a separate document how the machine was damaged.
2. SERIAL NUMBER
Always give the type and serial number of the machine. These appear in two places:
PACKING:
There is a label with the serial number on it stuck on the outside of the packing.
THE EXTERIOR OF THE MACHINE:
The number appears on the label indentical to the afore mentioned on the rear of the machine.
3. CHECKING THE DRAIN
Make sure that the drain hose at the rear of the machine is in perfect condition.
If the power supply cable is damaged it must be replaced by the Technical Service Team or authorised personnel.
4. INSTALLATION KIT
Check that the complete installation kit is inside the storage bin. This consists of a cube scoop, 3/4 gas line and two filters.
In the 200Kg Unit the cable is found within the machine itself and it is necessary to remove the upper cover to extract it.

1. PREREQUISITES FOR THE INSTALLATION AREA
N.B. machines are designed to work at outside temperatures of between +1ºC and 35ºC and water temperatures betwem
1ºC and +35ºC.
Under the minimum temperature it may be difficult to remove the cubes. Above the maximum temperature the compressor
will have a shorter active life and production will be reduced.
The air-condensed machines take in the air at the front grill and expel it through the rear.
N.B. If there is insufficient place of air at the rear of the machine, or if hot air from other equipment might reach this we
recommend most strongly THAT WATER CONDENSED MACHINE BE INSTALLED, if there is no other suitable placing for the
machine.
The previous remarks should be kept in mind if the place where the machine is to be installed is smoky or very dusty.
In any case make sure that the machine can be moved forward in order to be able to make the machine maintenance.
The floor on which the machine is to be placed should be solid and level as possible. Slight differences in the level can be
corrected by adjusting the feet.
2. WATER DRAINS
The quality of the water has considerable effect on the transparency and taste of the cubes and also affects the life of the
condenser in water condensed versions.
Bear in mind the following points:
A) WATER IMPURITIES:
These are retained by the filters that go with the machines. Depending on the purity of the water they will have to be
cleaned more or less often.
B) HARD WATER (HIGH LIME CONTENT):
The cubes will be soft, stick together and not be transparent. Lime deposits will form inside the machine and may affect
its functions. Water condensed versions may be found to have obstructions in the condenser, or less efficient running of
this part. the hardness of the water can be corrected by installing a good decalcifier. We advise to install a polyphosphate
PF-2 filter.
C) WATER WITH HIGH CHLORINE LEVELS:
The cubes will taste of bleach (chlorine). A carbon filter can be installed to get rid of this taste.
Bear in mind that water may be supplied with all these three features at the same time.
3. CONNECTION TO THE WATER MAINS
Use the flexible connection, (1'3 m long) with the two filter/seals supplied with the machine. We do not recommend the
use of twin outlets with two taps since the rear one might accidentaly be turned off, leaving the machine without water.
This might lead to a call for technical assistance when no actual breakdown is ocurred. Water pressure sholud be between
2
1 and 6 Kg/cm
, (14-87 psig.).
