Note
• To warm up the engine completely, idle the engine and wait for more than 5 minutes.
DTC U2021
DETECTION • After engine is warmed up, engine coolant temperature is 0 ° ° ° ° C {32 ° ° ° ° F} or less, and TCS operation is
CONDITION inhibited by PCM.
POSSIBLE
• System is normal. When engine coolant temperature rises, TCS operation is eecuted by PCM.
CAUSE
Diagnostic procedure
STEP
1 CHECK WHETHER ENGINE HAS WARMED
UP
• Has engine warmed up?
2 VERIFY THAT MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM
OCCURS AFTER ENGINE IS WARMED UP
• Warm up the engine.
• Is DSC indicator light also illuminated and
DTC C1119 obtained?
3 VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
• Clear DTC from memory.
(See P–46 Clearing DTCs
• Is same DTC present?
4 VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Is there any other DTC present?

Yes Go to net step.
No Warm up the engine.
If DSC OFF light goes out, system is normal.
Yes Go to DTC C1119 chart.
No If DSC OFF light goes out, system is normal.
If DSC OFF light does not go out, go to net step.
Yes Replace DSC HU/CM, then go to net step.
No Go to net step.
Yes Go to applicable DTC inspection.
No Troubleshooting completed.
