Ready for service indoors or out, this high-performance dome
camera features a rugged, vandal-resistant housing that protects
the camera even under the most adverse conditions. Combine
this with industry-leading horizontal resolution of 535 TVL, plus
an advanced colour matrix and excellent signal-to-noise ratio,
and you've got a solid foundation for a reliable, high-quality
surveillance system.
Outdoor-ready vandal-resistant* structure (complies with IP66) to
withstand shock, rain or extreme temperatures (operating temperature of
–10°C to +50°C)
With a solid die-cast aluminum base and silicon processed dome cover,
this camera's enclosure is based on an original JVC design that meets
the most rigorous standards for protection. Built to handle just about
anything, this durable enclosure can withstand a hard hit from a hammer
with barely a scratch and its IP66 rating means it can be safely installed
outdoors without worrying about the weather. So, from accidental
shocks to deliberate assaults or extreme weather, these rugged cameras
are ready for anything.
*Vandal-resistant: The rugged die-cast aluminum body has the shock absorption capability
necessary to absorb a standard level shock wave.
Built-in Revolutionary Digital Signal Processor (DSP)
JVC's innovative Digital Signal Processor automatically adjusts camera
parameters to ensure sharp and natural pictures with 535 TVL of
horizontal resolution and high performance.
1/4-inch CCD with 440,000 Effective Pixels
JVC's TK-C205VPE comes with a 1/4-inch Interline Transfer (IT) CCD for
accurate colour reproduction and super LoLux sensitivity of 1.8 lux.
Signal-to-Noise Ratio of 50dB (AGC OFF)
TK-C205VPE has a signal-to-noise ratio of 50dB for sharp pictures with
very precise colour reproduction.
Automatic Gain Control (AGC)
With super LoLux sensitivity, as ambient light level falls, automatic gain
control (AGC) increases the camera's sensitivity to 1.8 lux.
Manual or Automatic (ATW) White Balance
For flexibility of operation in a wide range of environments the white
balance can be set manually or can be automatically adjusted in real
time by the Automatic White Tracking function over a range of 2,300°K
to 10,000°K.
