Installing an accessible 5¼ inch drive
► Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").
► If a Weight Saver is present, remove this first: Remove the screws (1) and pull the Weight
Saver out of the casing (2).
Do not discard the Weight Saver. For cooling, protection against fire, and in order to

comply with EMC regulations, you must refit the Weight Saver if you remove the drive
again later.
► Take the new drive out of its packaging.
► Make the required settings on the drive.
