Espresso and coff ee brewing using pre-ground coff ee

This function allows to use pre-ground and decaff einated coff ee.
With the pre-ground coff ee function you can only brew one coff ee at a
time.

Press the " " button one or more times to select the pre-ground
coff ee function.

Lift the pre-ground coff ee compartment lid and add one scoop of
pre-ground coff ee to the compartment. Use only the measuring scoop
supplied with the machine Then close the pre-ground coff ee com-
partment lid.
Warning:
Add only pre-ground coff ee to the pre-ground coff ee compartment.
Other substances and objects may cause severe damages to the ma-
chine. Such damages are not covered by your warranty.
3 Press the " " button for an espresso or "
brewing cycle starts.
4 After the pre-brewing cycle, coff ee begins to pour out of the dispen-
sing spout.

Coff ee brewing stops automatically when the pre-programmed level is
reached; it is possible to stop earlier by pressing the "
After brewing the product, the machines returns to the main menu.
Repeat the steps described above to brew more coff ees using pre-ground
coff ee.
Note:
If no pre-ground coff ee is poured into the compartment, only water will be
dispensed.
If the dose is excessive and 2 or more measuring scoops of coff ee are used,
the machine will not brew the product. Only water will be dispensed and
any ground coff ee will be discharged into the coff ee grounds drawer.
