Interpretation
No signal

Fibre Loop Switch Troubleshooting
Possible Causes
This is the normal state when powered
on.
-The line has no voltage.
-The switch is disconnected or the power
cable is bad.
-The switch is faulty.
- This is the normal self-test state.
-If the test fails, the switch may be faulty.
Normal running state.
Possible Causes
Either:
a. no GBIC has been installed
or
b. no cable with a valid signal has been
attached since the GBIC was
installed.
Normal state for a valid port connection
Bad signal or no signal.
