When the answering machine is set to "OFF", calls will be answered
after 14 rings and the answer only message will be played to your
callers. They will not be able to leave you a message.
Using the handset:
Press
(Left soft key) and

Using the base:
In idle mode, press and hold the 5 key on the base station.
>If the answering machine is set to "ON",

Listen to the messages in the answering machine
When new messages are recorded on the answering machine,
flashes on the handset and base displays, and the
base flashes, until all new messages are played. After a new message
is played it will be saved as an old message automatically unless you
delete it. The base and handset displays also show the number of new
messages, e.g. "3 NEW MSGS" which means you have 3 new messages
in your answering machine. Old messages will be played after all new
messages are played completely. During message playback, the
number, time and date of message information display on the base
LCD.
Using the handset:
Press
(Left soft key) and

(Left soft key) to show "MSG PLAYBACK".
Press
(Left soft key) to start message playback through the handset
loudspeaker, and the screen displays the date and time information of
the message received.
Note:
In idle, you can press and hold the 5 key to start message playback.
