NOTE:
The modem module spare part kit does not include a modem module cable. The modem module
cable is included with the system board frame, spare part number 480894-001.
Description
Modem module
Before removing the modem module, follow these steps:
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off, turn the computer on, and then

shut it down through the operating system.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and

then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the modem module:
Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws (1) that secure the modem module to the system board.

Lift the modem module (2) straight up to disconnect it from the system board
