MAINTENANCE

Unplug t t he a a ppliance b b efore
carrying o o ut a a ny m m aintenance
operation.
Warning
This appliance contains hydrocarbons
in its cooling unit; maintenance and
recharging must therefore only be
carried out by authorized technicians.

Periodic cleaning

Clean the inside with warm water and
bicarbonate of soda.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Do n n ot p p ull, m m ove o o r d d amage
any p p ipes a a nd / / or c c ables i i nside
the c c abinet . .
Clean the condenser (black grill) and
the compressor at the back of the
appliance with a brush or a vacuum
cleaner. This operation will improve the
performance of the appliance and save
electricity consumption.

cleaners c c ontain c c hemicals t t hat c c an
attack/damage t t he p p lastics u u sed i i n t t his
appliance. F F or t t his r r eason i i t i i s
recommended t t hat t t he o o uter c c asing o o f t t his

with a a l l ittle w w ashing-u u p l l iquid a a dded.

Periods of non-operation

When the appliance is not in use for long
periods, take the following precautions:
remove the plug from the wall socket;
remove all food;
defrost and clean the interior and
all accessories;
leave the door ajar to allow air to
circulate to prevent unpleasant smells.

Changing the light bulb

Should the interior light fail to work, first
switch off the appliance and disconnect
from the electricity supply, then replace
the bulb as follows;
press on the rear hook and at the same
time slide the cover in the direction
indicated by the arrow.
Unscrew the bulb and replace it with
one of the same power (the maximum
power is shown on the light diffuser) .
Replace the light cover by sliding it into
its original position.

DEFROSTING

Refrigerator
The refrigerator automatically defrosts
every time the compressor stops. The
water is discharged, via the pipe, into a
tray located at the back of the appliance
above the compressor, where it
evaporates.
Freezer
Your appliance is frost free, which
means there is no need to manually
defrost your appliance as this will be
carried out automatically.
