3.2.1 Sleep Mode

On the Sleep Mode screen, you can set the idle duration after which eSpace 8850
automatically turns off the backlight and enters sleep mode. eSpace 8850 wakes up
immediately when you pick up the handset, tap the screen, press any key, or when there is an
incoming call.

From the home screen, tap
The Settings screen is displayed.
Tap .
The Sound screen is displayed.
Use the stylus or your finger to drag the two volume sliders to adjust the volume.
Tap the Ringtone drop-down list box and select a ringtone.
Tap Enable or Disable to set the keypad tone.
Tap Save to save the settings.
From the home screen, tap
The Settings screen is displayed.
Tap .
The Screen Settings screen is displayed.
Tap .
The Sleep Mode screen is displayed.
