The flash recharges between photos. This is indicated by a red light next to the

Changing the photo quality

The camera has three photo quality settings: Basic, Fine, and Super-fine. The current photo
quality setting is indicated by a 1-, 2-, or 3-diamond icon on the status LCD.

The photo quality setting you choose determines the quality of your photos and how many
photos can be stored on the CompactFlash memory card. Photos taken with higher photo
quality take up more space on the memory card; photos taken with lower photo quality take
up less space.
